What is the best decision you've ever made?accessibility_new
I know this question will be hard to think through because you have to remember a lifetime's worth of decisions. So, if you can't think of the best decision from your entire life, then simply put down the best decision you've made recently.
I'll go first. For me, it was going to my church's youth group. I didn't want to go at first because I never wanted to hang out with my peers and thought it was going to be really boring. Nevertheless, I reluctantly went the first time because my parents took me there, and I'm glad I did. Since then, I've made many good friends and had some of the best experiences of my life because of that. I can confidently say that I would be in a different place if I hadn't gone.

choosing not to trust people who ended up being bad news. besides that i guess my decision to start reading fanfiction for my favorite show at the time. it really improved my reading skills when i was younger and it's still one of my main coping tools. it's a great distraction from tough stuff and it's given me so much inspiration for my own writing
well, let's see..... besides accepting Jesus into my heart, i'd say joining the Young Writers' Workshop. i met so many great people and learned so much, and some of my dearest friends are in that community. plus, i had so many amazing opportunities just..... fall into my lap because of the connections i made. those were some of the best years of my life.
Joining PMC. I love the community and have made so many friends.
Besides giving my life to Jesus, I'd probably say picking up the guitar. I started playing it around a year ago, and I've played it pretty much every day since then. If I'm bored, then there's a good chance that I'll go and play for an hour or so.

Taking a break and finding contentment in the quiet of life. Honestly just choosing to spend time with God over other things has been super rewarding :)

Actually mine is something similar.
Finally going back to youth group after 6 months of just disappearing.
I was not in a good place then, then going back founded me into a community I could trust, and actually make friends again.
It got me out of a tough mental spot. :)
