I know I extended the time the server would stay up last time it was requested, and due to request again, I'm keeping it up until the 25th of this month. But this is the last time I'm extending it.

The Minecraft server for this group is mostly inactive now, so there doesn't seem to be a reason to keep it going and to pay for it. The server will not end instantly, but it will be ending sometime soon.

The GSit plugin wasn't working for some time, but it should be working properly now. :3

If you haven't seen the commands for this plugin yet, here are the commands it adds:

/sit

/lay

/crawl

/bellyflop

/spin

and you can sit on other players' heads by clicking on them.

The judges have reviewed the screenshots, and the winner for the contest has been decided. Each person can only have one place (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) even if multiple screenshots were submitted.

This contest is just for fun, the only reward is a shoutout and feature on the Furries of Minecraft group page, but it would be cool to see more of the group interact with each other and compete. :3

Ok, I just realized that the server hasn't been working properly and people were unable to connect on Bedrock edition and possibly not even on Java 1.19.3. Idk how long it's been like that, but it should now support MC version 1.19.3, and the latest Bedrock version. Sorry to everyone who was unable to connect to the server for some time. It should now be working. Also you will likely have to update the Bedrock IP and port before connecting on Bedrock edition, because at least one of those has changed. (the new ones are listed below)

Feel free to make a guest book post if you are ever unable to connect to the server, and please specify if you are using Java or Bedrock, so that I can try to fix it. :3

Just you you know, you are allowed to use mods, plugins, resource packs, ect. in your screenshots for the contest, just no editing the picture after it is taken. And the screenshot must be in Minecraft, not just of something generally related to Minecraft.

And a reminder, there's a max of four entries per person, and the winner will be featured at the bottom of the Furries of Minecraft page along with their winning screenshot. :3

Entries to the screenshot contest can be put into the group guest book. There are a few sites that allow you to host images for free, but you can also use Discord. To "host" images with Discord, make a group DM that only includes you, and post the images in there. Right click the image and then press "Copy Link". You can then use the link to post it on PMC.

MINECRAFT SCREENSHOT CONTEST

Post your best Minecraft screenshots in the guest book, with up to four entries per person. You can use shaders and replay mod to take the screenshot if you want, but NO editing the photo in any way. There is no theme, it doesn't even have to be a furry-related photo, so go crazy. This is just an event for some furries to have fun and compete together. :3
The contest starts Saturday, December 17th, at 2:00 PM CT. The contest ends on December 31st at 11:59 PM CT.
The winner will be determined by a group of judges. I am looking for creativity and quality (and feel free to make it a little comedic if you'd like).

The 1st place winner gets a shoutout in a group wall post and a permanent feature as a contest winner at the bottom of the Furries of Minecraft group page.
2nd & 3rd place will each get a shoutout in a group wall post.

RULES:
Keep the photos family-friendly, nothing inappropriate or that contains blood/gore
No editing the photos (shaders are allowed though)
Must be an in-game Minecraft screenshot (can be on any server and may include mods)
Only four entries per person. If a person submits more than four, all of their entries after the fourth will not be considered in judging.

The furry player skin contest has come to a draw! It is a tie between Funky Lil' Ferret by 6138, and Solar the Flood by FluffyTheRaccoon. There will be a second poll being released soon (likely tomorrow) that will allow you to vote between those two entries to finally determine a winner! If this one also ends in a draw, idk what I'll do lol.

(and if you're wondering why I didn't do this in a jam... well uh this kinda embarrassing but I didn't know what jams were on PMC until right after I started the competition. If I host future contests, they will likely be in jams if I can figure out how jams work.)

Okay, here's a new announcement that is just (maybe) retracting an announcement I made a few days ago. So things changed and it seems I will be able to keep the Furries of Minecraft server up longer. I don't know how long, but it will hopefully be for at least a few more months, possibly longer. If things change again and I have to take down the server I'm sorry ahead of time, but hopefully that won't happen. It probably won't happen. I think
