One of the most notable features of Inn In The Road is the addition of 11 new special books. While 2 of these books can be obtained from wandering traders, the other 9 can only be acquired from innkeepers. Once you obtain a book, similar to the smithing template copying system in vanilla Minecraft, you can copy it using a special book, a vanilla book, and glowing ink sac. Additionally, each book has a rarity and offers a unique ability when right-clicked.

Lastly, Inn In The Road adds a bunch of achievements to your game, for example: the ;dizzying events; achievement when you find beer.
