Hey everyone I have been really busy making this update, it is on the smaller side but I am preparing for a larger update next time!
This is also a double update which means both mods (Original and expanded) have been updated. So everything the expanded mod had will nog be available in this mod aswell (But the expanded version has new content again).


Changelog:

- Added Gold Bars

- Gold bars are always edible and give regeneration and absorption

- Added Enchanted Gold Bars

- These are also always edible and give Absorption, regeneration, speed, haste and resistance

- Enchanted gold bars are craftable so these aren't as overpowered as the enchanted golden apples are

- All these new items have new textures and recipes (See images)

- Changed the Icon of the mod

- Changed the logo for the mod on PMC

- The mod is now available on all platforms (Check them out there aswell!)

- The chocolate mod expanded is only available at modrinth

Hey everyone!

today is another update day, this has been the biggest update so far!

But first some important news, I have stopped updating the expanded version of this mod, instead opting to just manage 1 mod (This one). Don't worry everthing that was in the expanded version of this mod has been brought over to this mod. So you are not missing out on anything!

Anyways here is the changelog (It is a big one):

- Added the chocolatier profession

- Added funcionality to the chocolaterie table

- The chocolatier table is now used as POI for the new villager profession

- Added drops to the chocolaterie table (Mined with an axe)

- Added a recipe for the chocolaterie table (See images)

- Added "The chocolate mod" advancement

- Added "Is it christmas yet?" advancement

- Added "Is this even edible?" advancement

- Added "The shiniest of all!" Advancement

- Updated texture for the top of the chocolaterie table

- Added custom trades to the villager profession


Bugs:

- Fixed a bug where brown chocolate bar bowls were stackable


PMC changes:

Hey Everybody welcome back to another update for the chocolate mod (remastered)!
This update is on the big side so I really hope everybody will enjoy this update, I worked really hard on it

Here are the changes:


- You can now use brown chocolate bar bowls on campfires

- You get more hunger bars back for drinking hot chocolate

- Added Chocoate cake (it works the same as vanilla but is stackable and is cheaper to make)

- Added 2 more inventory tabs, 1 for blocks and 1 for foods

- Chocolatier villagers now sell Chocolate Cakes as well

- Added Dried Cocoa beans, you get these by drying normal cocoa beans in furnaces or campfires

- All base chocolate recipes now use Dried cocoa beans instead of Cocoa Beans

- Chocolaterie tables can now be used as fuel


PMC Changes:

- Changed pictures

- Added new pictures on the PMC website

- Rerouted the sources link to an updated one

- Added donation link


Those were all the changes for update 2.1, Have fun with the update!

(I changed the cocoa beans to dried cocoa beans because in real life, you need to dry cocoa beans before actually making chocolate, this change is made to teach a little bit about how chocolate is made in real life.)

Hello everybody today is a very VERY exciting day! I just finished coding the update and it is by far the biggest update yet to this mod!
Sorry for the delay but this update took quite some time to complete! I do think the update is of very high quality and expands the gameplay aspect of this mod by a lot!
Anyway let's not waste any more time let's get into this big changelog!!

Changelog:

Theobroma wood type:


- Added new tree type: Theobroma (Based of of real life cocoa trees)


- it has a nicer blue tint to it whilst not looking too much like warped wood (See picture)


- The trees spawn naturally throughout the world in all jungle biomes!


- The planks act the exact same like the vanilla block and all of the other block types have also been added


- Added: Theobroma stairs, slabs, doors, trapdoors, buttons, pressure plates, fences and fence gate variants of theobroma wood

- The leaves sometimes drop dried cocoa beans, making them useful for farms


- all of the blocks have recipes + loot drops


- all blocks can be used as fuel


- Added new advancement for obtaining theobroma wood



Other changes:


- All items and blocks have been sorted into custom "tags" this helps with compatibility a lot and possible other mods that are installed whilst running this mod


- Reoredered creative tab


- Added the music disc to the vanilla creative tab "tools and utilities"


- Changed the background of the advancement screen to theobroma planks


- you can now use any chocolate bar to craft the "brown chocolate bar bowl" (Texture and name won't change)


- removed a few trades of the chocolaterier villager


- Fixed capitalization on "the chooclate mod" advancement


- Fixed bug where chocolaterie table wouldnt drop itself when mined by hand

- Added a brand new beautiful logo! (Made by a friend of mine!)

Hey Everyone!

ACgamer_Real here with a new update for the chocolate mod! This update is heavily focused on adding more unique sorts of chocolate bars! this update adds 4 unique ones all with a unique ability!

Anyways let's not wait any longer and get into this quite big changelog!


New Bars:


Magma Chocolate Bar:

- Added Magma Chocolate Bar (Crafted with magma blocks)

- Magma chocolate bars give fire resistance for 30 seconds when eaten

- magma chocolate bars are findable in every bastion type



Sculk Chocolate Bar:


- Added Sculk chocolate bars (Crafted with sculk blocks)

- Sculk chocolate bars have an animated texture

- Sculk chocolate bars give 6 experience when eaten, you can craft them with 4 sculk blocks, normally each sculk block gives 1 experience point, so you basically get 2 extra by crafting or finding the bar! (Making them worth making and collecting)

- Sculk chocolate bars are findable in ancient cities



Iced Chocolate Bar:

- Added Iced Chocolate Bars (Crafted with packed ice)

- Iced chocolate bars give slowness 2 and resistance 100% of the time, gives Regeneration and strength 2 70% of the time (You might end up with only the bad status effects!)

- Emits particles when eaten

- Iced chocolate bars can be found in igloos


Ender Chocolate Bar:


- Added ender chocolate bars (Crafted with chorus fruit)

- They teleport the player randomly around when eaten

- Ender Chocolate Bars can be found in end cities



Advancements:


- Added 5 new advancements

- "hot... HOT!... HOT!" for obtaining a Magma chocolate bar

- "cold... COLD!... COLD!" for obtaining an Iced chocolate bar

-"Chocolate? in the end?" for obtaining and Ender chocolate bar

- "Corrupted chocolate?" for obtaining a Sculk chocolate bar

- "The Chocolate Master" for having all the chocolate bars in your inventory



Other stuff:

- Nerfed the dark chocolate bar a bit

- made hot chocolate bowls give regeneration for only 50% of the time

- Fixed capitalisation of "The chocolate mod" advancement

- Added twitter link

- Made the download work again on PMC

Important note: Since 1.20 is drawing closer and closer, This will be the last update before 1.20 drops! The next update will only include small changes and the official update to 1.20 for the chocolate mod, after that the updates will continue regularly! Just keep that in mind, since it might take a bit!

A: Yes of course! I actually think this mod does better in a modpack that is centered around food, just make sure to credit me!

How to download this mod?

- Go to this site

- Click the "download here" button

- Run the EXE file

- Go back to Planet Minecraft

- Click the "Download" button (and download the Fabric API as well)

- Open the folder, you should see a JAR file named: SCME-..... (Version name)

- Open your .minecraft folder (or in the search bar type: %appdata%)

- Check if there is a folder called "mods"

- If there isn't a folder called "mods" create one with the exact same name

- Drag the JAR file in the folder "mods"

- Drag the Fabric API in this folder as well

- open up your launcher and you should see a new minecraft version called: Fabric Loader-..... (The version of the Fabric API)
