The Goldberg was built in 1913 in Rostock. Her route was from Rostock to New York and from New York to Quèbec.
One year later in 1914, she startet her travel from Quèbec to Rostock, but then a Torpedo hit the Goldberg and she sank in 50min. in the North Atlantic.
