Started working on a 1.14 update. I managed to get the pathfinding to work so far, but it's going to take quite some time before it's actually playable.
This is not an update to the current commands but instead a complete overhaul of everything; as looking back, the commands are a complete mess. :)
So yea, just here to tell you that the project is being worked on once again. ^_^

Each team has a layer of wool assigned, one is at y0, one at y1
Each color represents a direction and if a minion is above one of the wool blocks it travels in the respective direction. These meaning are mirrored for the opposite team (eg. yellow moves diagonally for both teams, but in opposite directions based on which one).
Whenever a minion gets within a few blocks of another minion of the opposite team it stops moving and both start to count down their health until one of them dies.
If there is no minion but instead a player the zombie gets its NoAI tag set to false, so he starts chasing the player. If the player goes out of range the tag is set to true again and normal path-finding resumes.
The newer version of this map will be using wandering trader pathfinding instead
