In the vast azure depths of the ocean, where the sunlight would trickle down in shimmering rays of gold, lived a mermaid named Melusine. While her merfolk peers would find joy in swimming around her kingdom, chasing schools of fish - she found joy in an area entirely of its own!
Melusine's heart longed for art. From the time she was but a guppy, she would dip into restricted underwater paints, coloring the coral walls of her home in an array of hues, much to her parent's dismay! She was completely captivated by the colors and textures of the underwater world surrounding her.
Endowed with her seaweed canvas and a shell palette of vibrant paints, Melusine would lose herself in the creation of her masterpieces. She would often find herself swimming towards the most secluded corners of the ocean - where the water was still and the fish were quiet. There, she would unleash her creativity.
