🛠️ Fixes, Changes and Adjustments:
⚙️ Snapshot Additions:
- Added overlay pack for snapshot/future versions. Will be merged once 1.21 releases.
- Added longer rails for all `raised` rails state.
- Added `hinge: right` textures for doors so they aren't just flipped `hinge: left` doors.
- Added colored Note Blocks for each instrument including mob heads.
- 💡 Each instrument represents one of the 16 Minecraft colors. Might change this to how Noteblock studio has it set up if people want it.
- Added Sculk Shrieker textures for `shrieking` state.
- WIP! Added End Portal Frame textures for `eye=true` and `facing=...` state.
🛠️ Fixes, Changes and Adjustments:
- Changed pack format to 16-30 for future releases.
- 💡 Kelp `age=25` as well as Campfire `signal_fire` are still WIP and subject to change in the next updates.
⚙️ Snapshot Additions:
- Added Trial Spawner state for `active` and `cooldown`.
- Edited/Expanded Trial Spawner state for `waiting for reward ejection` and `waiting for players`.

I did not notice any performance issues, but it probably also depends on the system, so I can see it being a problem. To disable the leaves, the easiest way should be to remove each "(tree type)_leaves.json" in the assets>minecraft>blockstates folder.

also isn't it possible with animated texture ? if the timing was long enough ?
No, sadly that wouldn't be possible as all animated textures of a type start and repeat at the same time, which would cause some saplings to visually age backwards to their first stage before growing into a full tree. Additionally, sapling growth is based on random ticks, which means that every sapling will turn into a tree after a different amount of time.
