I have noticed that when browsing the Datapacks section of PMC, specifically browsing "Best Datapacks" by category(magic, tech, etc.), it seems that the algorithm is heavily skewed in favor of views. There are cases where packs will have higher stats in every field except views yet will still be listed lower.

Normally this would not be an issue, however there is already a way to sort by views, leading me to see the weight views have on the "Best Datapacks" being largely redundant. It is also frustrating for me personally, that packs with lower stats in every category than my one pack, but more views, are put higher by the algorithm.

I think the simplest solution would be to reduce the weight that views have for sorting by best, even if it drops my own pack's placement, I feel that it would make the sorting process make a bit more sense.
