PvE server category

Hello,

I have been running a PvE based server since 2011 and have had the server listed on here for the same duration. I have noticed that although there are several categories for PVP, there are none for PvE. The server is currently listed under 'Survival' but this doesn't really summarize it well. 'PvE Economy' would be a much better category, or just simply 'PvE'.

I would very much like to see either of these added as a category. I'm sure there are plenty of other server owners who would also like to see the addition of a PvE category.

This ticket was opened 4 months ago... and nothing has been done with it. No response from the PMC team at all. Are you guys going to look into this anytime soon?

With a PvE server's features being quite different than those of a PvP server's, there must be a way for the server list to differentiate between these types rather than directly joining the server and asking what server type it is.

It's strange to see no PvE category and there are categories for mini games, even specific minigames are listed as their own category. I think PvE is a much broader category than hunger games or prison so it should have it's own like PvP does.

I agree with the statements made. There should be a PvE category to search on PMC.

I despise PvP and it is very disappointing to find a promising server with plug-ins that I like, that seems well maintained and populated, looks nice, staff seem friendly, then someone with a bucket of lava comes along and ruins everything just because they can. If there was a PvE category, it would eliminate a lot of frustration and wasted time winnowing through the PvP masses to find a server I might actually like to play on.

I despise PvP servers so I fully agree with this, It's hard to find a good PvE server these days. Having a way to search through all PvE servers is a golden idea.

pve is a major part in deciding what server to play on the fact that pve is not a tag/category highly disappoints me since i frequently use this site

To whom it may concern,

In my opinion PMC is one of the best websites for players to find a minecraft server they will enjoy. However, I agree with Saladfingers. The category list could improve.

We are a PvE server in a very large sea of PvP servers. I feel that this sets us apart from the cookie cutter masses. (I might be bias, but I honestly believe we are very well run.) There are several categories to narrow down what a potential player might be looking for, but there is no PvE category. Perhaps this is something that could be added.
