I like being able to build whatever you want and live it.

Its fun to mod and play

nothing sticks with me for more than a few years, but minecraft has somehow, ive known and watched for 7 years and began playing it for 3. its something i find familiar yet different at the same time. im not entirely sure what made me so interested in minecraft in the first place though, im a decent builder but i always preferred the more competitive side of minecraft. (despite there being hundreds of other more competitive games)

Because i can build whatever i want, do whatever i want at any time, those are the 2 main reasons i like this game but there's more

You can do basically anything, since it's a sandbox game, and you can play with friends!

You can practically do ANYTHING. You can build the impossible, go to new dimensions, go fishing etc.

Hanging out with friends fighting mobs and building.

Simple reasoning: because I / we are in full control of our game, and it's still something we really enjoy playing with.

But most of all: mods, I run a (private) modded LAN server and all the extra stuff is just amazing. We fought dragons, trolls, gorgons, sirens.. We studied and scribed mystial spells, performed forbidden rituals to gain more power... but at the same time I also build us a much better replacement for the standard furnace, we now crush our ores before smelting them.

Once you get into modding....

It's a hard question to answer for me, sometimes I can like it and sometimes I can hate it, I had bad moments that made me left the game, but I always want to come back to it, but I really don't know the reason.

It doesn’t judge you by how you play, it encourages you to play how you want

I have been playing off and on for 10+ years. After my long days at work, or downtime from studying like now, I have the ability to unleash my creative mode, to sculp and shape the area as well as build what I would like where I would like. I go a bit further and fine tune my creations with the following mods - Chisel-n-bits / architecture / Biomes-O-plenty / Medga plants / flat colored blocks / Biblio Craft plus the chisel mod... Yep, I am using old mods - for Mincraft 1.12.2 . Plus I am able to previous and newer versions when I want to in another launcher to create!! can't ask for more, never gets old!!

Because it's fun, and I like it and stuff.

For me as a Red Stone player, I like that you can create classic games in one game

The friends you can make, the things you can create, the places you can find....and tons more

For me, it's just very peaceful and relaxing.

Well i enjoy Minecraft for two reasons and two reasons only. First Minecraft said you can build literally anything! (Well not a spitfire you can fly and a Mac Donald’s restaraunt that spawns randomly with a wandering trader dressed like a MacDonald s worker but hey!) Minecraft was the first computer game i played, when i got the download code from the shop, it was the best day of my life. And another one is playing multiplayer and joining people in a massively diverse server list, that is my two reasons and i stand by them.
