This pack transforms Nether into a different, yet similar environment, with new terrain, 7 new sub-biomes, and some changes to vanilla ones.
New terrain
Now Nether has less space between bottom and ceiling and mostly plain terrain. Lava oceans were replaced with old-new nether wastes.

Now Nether has less space between bottom and ceiling and mostly plain terrain. Lava oceans were replaced with old-new nether wastes.
Biomes changes
Nether Wastes:- Now this biome is full of lava lakes, magma and basalt. Blazes and ghasts spawn here, and ancient debris generate on the ceiling among basalt stalactites.
Basalt Deltas:- As usual, but with basalt stalactites, blazes, gilded blackstone, and without magma cubes. The only place where you can find a glowstone.
Soul Sand Valley:- Added nether warts.
Crimson Plains:- A lot of empty space for you to build, vines weeping from the ceiling, hoglins, and some piglins.
Warped Plains:- Like warped forest, but less trees and more twisting vines.
Crimson Fissures:- The place of cracks in the ground that contain gold ore.
Warped Fissures:- Same as crimson fissures biome, but with quartz instead of gold.
Soul Sand Deltas:- The biome between soul sand valleys and basalt deltas. Here reside hordes of skeletons and wither skeletons.
Crimson Deltas:- Mix of basalt deltas and crimson biomes. Contains lava pools, basalt columns and magma cubes.
Warped Deltas:- Place perfect for striders to live.
- Is it compatible with (pack/mod name)?

Pre-New-Year update 1.0.1 (nothing special, really) : by AmethystShard 12/29/2023 6:45:21 pmDec 29th, 2023
Okay, I don't have anything special as a New Year gift. This update was finished like a month ago and was supposed to be released already, but . . .
. . . eh . . .
. . . i don't have any justifying reason for why it wasn't released. I just kinda forgor about it. I'm sorry.
So, what this update brings?
Sorry to say this, but -- it's an incompatible with your previous worlds, that have Amethyst's Nether installed, changes.
To be honest, it's just one change. This change is a biome distribution.
Completely wiped and made from scratch
A picture of how biome distribution was before: https://imgur.com/c81iLdL
And how it looks now: https://imgur.com/a5xpMQK
So, yeah. It was changed drastically, so if you had any worlds with this pack installed -- you're better not to install new version on them. It'll corrupt your world . . . If you don't somehow wipe all Nether data from your world files somehow.
Other changes:
Added bastions and nether fortresses to generation
Rebalanced mobs spawn rates
Feedback and suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.
Wish everyone happy New Year.

Tho, you can make a backup copy of your world, save it somewhere, and then install this pack. If something bad happens -- you can always recover a corrupted world with a backup
After doing this, you can delete the datapack and try to play. I hope it will help you, because i'm not sure if i'm mistaken on how all of this works.
And in case anyone didn't figure already -- yep, it will wipe your Nether completely. It will reset like it was never generated.
