*In the cool night sky, the woods are tense and still. The gentle thudding of the Boggleman's steps draw closer, though its massive form is yet unseen. It's croaking and deep voice echoes through the wood.*
"Why are you still here? I have tried to ignore your visits, I have kept silent on my duties, I have warned you of the dangers of this place. And yet! Yet, you continue to pester me. So tell me, young queen, tell me why you are this reckless and foolish?"

*Pavorford, remarkably, is noisy. There are strangers and foreigners bustling through the dirt roads, gawking and admiring the meek village's houses and stalls. The actual villagers are, as usual, silent and appalled, unsure of what to do with so many crowds. Though the only noise is made by the mumbled chatter of the visitors and the kicked up road, it is a disturbance in the place's enforced silence. The visitors seem completely oblivious to the danger of their presence, and the villagers are paralyzed in their worry and confusion.*
*Ruby stands out in the crowds, cause she looks like a goddess. She goes to the hill where she first met the boggleman*
*The Boggleman does not appear. The woods are silent and tense, the steady shudder of the wind drifting through the branches and pines. The forest itself feels like its anticipating some great event.
*The hill itself seems to feel this tension. It feels alive, like the great belly of an ancient and slumbering colossus. Standing upon the hill, it feels like standing upon a barrier; a thin floor keeping you from falling into unfathomable nothing; like peering down into the deepest lakes, seeing naught but the dark voids held safe by those waters.*
