Hi folks,
I want to make a data pack for 1.19.3 and 1.19.4 which adds seasons (spring, summer, fall and winter) into the world. The biomes should be changed with the /fillbiome command introduced in 22w46a. But now I need help, because when generating or loading the world, biomes should be replaced in the appropriate places (e.g. plains = spring plains) with the appropriate biome that fits the current season and idk how I can do this. Seasons should be changed with /trigger or /function. Can someone help me here with the custom biomes?
Sincerely yours,
Atten007😊

I don't think this is possible to do efficiently as far as I understand. Sadly, the fillbiome command only selects an area, not a biome, to change biomes. You would have to somehow edit the biome for every block, which of course is a bad idea to attempt.
