Welcome back to Datapack Jam 10, a usually-monthly competition where we challenge the PMC community to make a themed datapack in just one week! This time, we’ve teamed up with the official PMC Jams team to make this jam better than ever! We’re excited to have you here. There’s a countdown to the start of the jam further down the page. The jam theme will be revealed near the start time - a wall post will be sent, and this page will be edited. Don’t miss it - remember to hit the join button to get jam updates on your home page. The winner for this jam will recieve a month of Discord Nitro! Jam Dates: 12th August - 19th August 2023 THEME: INFECTED

Prizes The top 3 participants in this jam will receive trophies as a prize, as well as the winner receiving a month of Discord Nitro, as well as a fancy role in our Discord Server. But remember, just by participating you’ll get a cool Participation Trophy for your profile page!

Judging All datapacks are judged on the following 4 criteria: Technicality - How technically challenging is your datapack? Does it involve any advanced datapacking? Is it optimised? Creativity - Is your datapack original? Does it have fancy models and textures? How have you interpreted the theme? Polished-ness - Have you managed to make your datapack feel like a finished product within the challenging time limit? Effect - How well does your datapack reflect the theme of the jam?

Rules To make Datapack Jam fair, please stick to these simple rules. If you’ve already read them, then they’re the same as last time. 1. Use your own work and ideas. Online tools are allowed, but make sure to credit them. 2. Stick to the theme. You can get as creative as possible, but your datapack must be based on the theme. 3. Do not intentionally copy others. Use your ideas, you can do it! 4. Datapack must be made within the time given. Do not use old datapacks. 5. You can work in teams of 3. You can also go solo if you can’t find a friend. 6. Stick to Planet Minecraft’s rules. Any datapack that goes against the PMC rules will be disqualified from this or future events and removed from PMC.

Ranked by Judges - Only members of the jam assigned with judging permission can vote.
Entries can't be updated during the judge phase.
7 day entry period.
7 day voting phase after the entry period.

   How creative is the submission?
   Rated 1 to 10
2. Technicality
   How advanced is the submission?
   Rated 1 to 10
3. Effect
   How well does the submission reflect the desired outcome?
   Rated 1 to 10
4. Polished-ness
   How polished was the submission? *This includes custom textures, if the pack has them.
   Rated 1 to 10
