Planet Minecraft Solo Chunk Challenge.

"Ascending Heights" - A solo project presented by one of our team members - Deluxe498.
*Please note, this build was built fairly quickly since he had limited time.*

It is based off 3 main aspects. Heaven, Life and Hell..
Heaven can initially be seen at the very top of the build, a palace which floats above mankind in clouds. This was based off various references especially those from religious books and such. The palace uses a variety of bright coloured blocks especially quartz. This is so it is fitting with the 'Heavenly theme'.

Life, in the form of a modern cityscape can be seen just below the cloud formations. It built to be a fairly dull description of everyday life which seems to be never ending. It was based off a New York cityscape and so features a couple of old, skyscrapers built beside and crowded around eachother. "I initially thought of building a medieval village however found that this tends to be over-used and I felt that this would fit with my theme.." A sewer system can be found below the buildings which shows a variety of pipes and such. This is connected to a mineshaft which is seen to be at the lower levels of the chunk...
The mineshaft contains the typical ores, iron, gold and coal. But even contains diamonds as mankind mines deeper down to hell.

Hell, This is a volcanic wasteland that in this chunk is built within a cave. This cave contains various blocks especially the typical netherrack, soul sand and nether brick. It is designed to be a futile place that all should avoid. It contains a mass of chaos where lava waterfalls fall from its pillars and even where remenants of a nether fortress are lodged into its walls.

The overall build is meant to blend with each section which can be seen with various blocks such as the hell themed ones blending with the cave/mineshaft system.
