Level 56 : Grandmaster Architect

This project was inspired by the Woolworth Building in New York.

It encompasses lots of Gothic architectural features and so on and stretches from bedrock to the top of the map.

There's also a fully furnished smoking lounge with a bar et cetera.

Please, analyse, scrutinise and criticise... so yeah, some comments would be nice, thanks.

I have now just about finished the front facade fenestration. The last three images show the progress. It currently stands at 52 stories (just 5 to go).

It's very pretty from the outside, but the inside was kind of a madhouse when I checked it out. I know it's mainly decorative, but filling the inside with stone turned out to be more trouble that it's worth, since for my server I needed a place you could actually go inside. Even empty rooms would have been easier (instead of clearing it out and rebuilding) Also a lot of windows don't seem to match up with floors, etc. Don't get me wrong, I still love the look of it! It just needs some tweaking. Maybe instead of the blue wool window look, just keep it empty? Or just empty floors.

Well, originally, the build wasn't meant to be anything spectacular. It was actually just another casual building in my city; so I built it by using Mcedit to create the general shape out of solid stone, and then just sort of carved in the details. That's why there isn't any floors or details on the inside, in fact, it was solid at one point.

But, I do have a newer (full scale version) of the same building, that one has floors. But it may be a bit too tall.
