The Outpost of Riverhold

One of the few remaining fortresses that defend Varith from the evil of the north, Riverhold is protected by a great flowing river that separates The Dominion from the Golden Alliance. This Outpost has proven a dominant presence throughout the history of Karuta, rising through rumours that became stories, stories that became legends..

Up until recently the outpost had fallen into ruin when Sir Waters, vanished from unknown circumstances... Taking his place, Tibald Waters, his son led the Varithians into battle expelling the vampires from it's land. Now residing as King of Varith, Tibald gave the outpost to his loyal servants, the Brothers of Velaryon to rebuild and maintain the colossal fortress while King Tibald watches over from his high throne in Varith.
