After the Black Sun takes over part of the Continental Empire, during the "Great Trial" (Fall of Continental Empire ((Name taken from TNO)), they begin making Black Sun-esc states, such as SS state of Ostland or Volkstaat der Zwischenraum unt Atlantischer-Stadat, which are colony states, which act as larger puppets, in order to maintain the stability. Although, this does not last for long, after the Poppy resistance begins in the Black Sun, and it falls into a civil war, letting Intermarium and Northumbrian Forces invade in 1200.
