Hello, it's your favorite Despicable Me character, ZappyGru, and welcome to the 7th installment of Gru's News. Today, we're interviewing a fellow chicken who wears pants named chickenpants93! As Limenade says, "you know the rules and so do I, sit back and relax and say goodbye," let's begin!
Introduction: So tell me a bit about yourself before we get started.
chickenpants93: Howdy! I’m chickenpants!
Im a bit of a regular around here, so maybe youv seen me somewhere or other.
lve been making comics here on pmc for a few years, I’m a pretty big fan of comedy so you could say I’m a bit of a funny man.
I also have my own Interview Blog (but do read this one first) and I’ve been working on a few other writing projects recently too! (Like This one or That one)
im a 5 foot 11 humanoid bird man and there is nothing you can do about it, pal.

Question 1: What were your origins on your username?

I get this question a lot
its pretty simple!
back on Minecraft wiiu edition, which was my first one, there were only a few good free skins
one of them was a chicken in a suit, he didn’t have a hat, and his tie was an ugly orange, but it was a chicken in a suit and that was great.
as for the pants part, I wore chainMail leggings all the time and I called myself “The ChainMail Chicken”
so I could have been named Chainmail_Chickenpants or something but the name I went with was much better lol
ZappyGru: I presume it's this skin from the Battle and Beasts pack?

yes it was! And now that I look at it again it’s not as bad as I remember lol
Question 2: Going onto the second question, what is your most prized submission? In other words, what is your favorite submission that you made?
chickenpants93: Now THIS, is a difficult question.
I have made a lot of things on this website.
while my very successful comic PMCTale does mean a lot to me, it ended up not going so well in the end. But after that comic ended, a bunch of friends and I came up with a way better idea.
that idea is my comic series PBDA or Pooh Bear Detective Agency
it was originally a forum but I started over in This blog
While I’ve been known to start more things than I finish in the past this comic has been in the works for a long long time and I’m very happy to be able to start the thing, it’s got a few flaws which I hope to work out, but I think it’s something I can be genuinely proud of! I’ve had a whole lot of fun making it and I can’t wait to tell all the story’s I have prepared for it.

Question 3: What inspired you to join PMC?
chickenpants93: Well if I remember correctly I literally only joined because I forgot my password for skindex (which I used for five minutes lol)
BUT OH BOY THANK GOODNESS I JOINED THIS SITE
i only started uploading a year or so later when my cool friend JadeFire170 reminded me of my account (she also makes cool stuff you should sub to her) I’ve been here ever since! And I’m pretty much online every day lol.
ZappyGru: Cool!
Question 4: Where do you see yourself in the future? Like maybe a year, two years, maybe three?
chickenpants93: Well.. on pmc? I don’t know at all
it could be that I’ll have lots of subs, it could be that I’ll be completely irrelevant by then lol
but I’ll probably be doing the same thing I am right now
Ill probably be a lot better of course, and maybe even be doing it for cash, who knows?
I have no idea what the futures gonna throw at me, but I do know what I want to do, and I’m willing to make a go for it.
maybe I’ll have finished my comic in three years lol or at least half way through, at this point it could take my whole life lol
ZappyGru: It can be hard figuring out what will happen in the future, I tend to look at my previous works and guess based on what I've already created.
Question 5: What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
chickenpants93: Oo
well I’ve grown a lot as a person this past year if I’m honest, a whole lot of it due to this community
im a good public speaker and I enjoy writing and debate, I’m a pretty creative person and I’ve practiced enough where I’m not too bad at it!
but one big weakness of mine would have to be that I struggle with physical work, my personality type is well known for not being the best when it comes to that lol (entp-a btw) so that might be it.
hopefully I can get my ideas off the ground early enough that that won’t be too persistent of a problem though, but I guess that ties into the last question about what the future holds lol

Question 6: On a similar note, what was your greatest challenge on PMC? Was it something to do with your weakness? Or maybe something entirely different?
chickenpants93: Well the internet doesn’t have many physical hurdles that’s probably why I’ve done well lol
but yeah I’ve had a decent amount
sad truth of the internet is not everyone is who you think they are
ive taken time to get to know people these days who are some of my best friends in the world, but back when I joined I just wanted to be friends with everyone lol
of course everyone can be a good person, only problem is some people don’t choose to be!
it resulted in the end of my first comic, and a few bad interactions here and there, but in the end? I honestly wouldn’t change anything at all
its let me meet a lot of the coolest people on the planet, planet Minecraft OR planet earth lol
ZappyGru: I've had some similar experiences with people that don't choose to be a good person. It's always best to keep you guard up incase anything suspicious ever happens!
Question 7: For your next question, I was thinking about your Poultry Press & Blog. Please, explain the viewers who haven't seen it, what it's about.
chickenpants93: Well it’s kinda similar to your interviews zap!
while I haven’t done an interview in a while, I’ve been interviewing friends as well as interesting members who are often overlooked
pmc is a big place, and it’s not all just about Minecraft skins! So that was my main intention with the press.
I used to be head reporters of creative_kylee’s pmc press! So I have a bit of experience (and I’ve learned from my mistakes on that job lol)
I should really get back to interviewing, I’ve been enjoying it a lot!

Question 8: So moving on with the last few questions, what would be a common mistake that most viewers see about you? If there are any, that is.
chickenpants93: Hmm, well other than some people thinking I’m a duck, there aren’t many lol
I like to think I’m a fairly open person
THOUGH IM SURE IVE CONFUSED SO MANY PEOPLE WITH WEIRD WALL POSTS
Like the Amogbus or the glue stick posts
which I won’t link because both of those are from months and months ago lol
but other than that I don’t think so lol
ZappyGru: That's nice! Though, I'm a bit surprised that people think your a duck with your username having the word chicken in it.
Question 9: For the 9th question, let's go for a very hard one to answer. This may take some time to think, so think as much as you need! What is your favorite color?

Question 10: So what is something that you look forward to in the near future?
chickenpants93: Ooo
well I am pretty excited for a lot of my upcoming projects! Like Talltale! (Which I’m currently in the midst of writing)
it’s my interactive story! Moltenoni and I have been working on ideas for a while now and we think itl turn out really cool!
I recommend anyone to give it a look, the character submissions are closed but monster designs are always open!
im also excited for a lot of my friends projects lol (like -rae- who is also writing a story which I’ve had the honor of getting a sneak peek at lol)

Question 11: For the next question, it's a might be a bit sensitive depending on the situation, but what was a mistake that has happened to you, and how did you solve it?
