So I noticed that there were way more griefers than usual a couple days ago. So what I did was I went on PMC and looked for the most complex and biggest map I could and of course, I downloaded it. I didn't download it to use it for any particular reason but to grief it. I have never griefed anything in my life before bit I have seen it happen. I use to watch griefing videos and I thought they were funny and cool until a grief team came on my server, the day it reliced. I had been working on this server for TWO whole years now and I was so happy it finally relied. They came on and were acting normal and one of the players asked if I could install his plugin and make him a developer for my server. I stupidly said yes and added him on skype. He sent me the file and I interviewed him. I asked him if it was one of those nodus plugins (if you don't know what they are, they are plugins that allow default players to OP themselves). I installed it and he said he was going to run the "test". When he said "test" i know this guy was sketchy and hes probably a hacker... I forgot about the plugin up until now. I had the command "/banip (His Name)" ready incase there was a problem and the plugin was a nodus plugin. The ground beneath me disappeared. He opped all of the team. One of the members deleted the chunk where we were standing. I instantly pressed enter. It was also a stupid move on my part to not have ANY backups. Then after this happened I remade the map and the whole team was banned. I also have all there IPs on a .txt file on my thumbdrive incase they ever come back.

Anyways, about a week after this happened I tried to grief a downloaded world. Sure it was fun, but I'd never want to do such a horrible thing to another player. So for all you griefers, just download a gosh darn map and grief it. Griefing isn't the key to happiness, helping people is.
