This is a simple nether portal trap. I don't really know how to explain it, other then its a trap.
WARNING
Make sure you have a way out of the nether. Either another portal (make sure its far enough away that people wont use that instead of this portal) or have nothing on you but two buckets of lava that you can loose without too much trouble.

- nether portal
- two buckets of lava
Instructions:
- Make a nether portal or find exisitng one
- go to the nether
- place lava on both sides of the portal
PROS AND CONS
PROS:
- There is no way to see it coming
- The player might see lava in front when they go to the nether and try to back out
- If they run through the lava and don't die they are stuck in the nether
CONS:
- Burns the items
- Victims might warn the whole server
