The sky shined bright as I walked by the forest. Not many people knew my name around the village. I had a simple name. Not too hard, not too easy. Anthony. I introduced myself to some of the people in the village, but they didn't seem to happy. A few days earlier when I arrived, everyone was in a really depressed mood. I went around the village to see many destroyed homes and areas and lots of mob loot on the ground. Most likely a mob invasion occurred. But there was something very odd on the hill.
A Nether portal just on the top of the hill was encased in layers of glass. Possibly so zombie pigmen don't cross to the overworld and attack. Anyway, I came here on a long journey. I entered the world a few weeks ago to settle along a NPC village. It was quite large and had an amazing blacksmith. Everything was perfect. I lived with a other new player named Jordan. Although, he did not stay too long. He headed west and towards the sunset. I didn't see him after that.
After plentifully living and taking advantage of the NPC village, I saw odd occurrences in the distance. Light flashes, lightning bolts, monster attacks. Before Jordan left, he left me a sheet of paper on my desk. It stated that he would be meeting his friend Andrew in his village. At the bottom of the paper said "I may not make it back. You've been a good friend. Keep the items in the chest. Save them for the day. Hope to see you someday. -Jordan" I took a side-step and eased the chest open.
The chest contained a iron sword, ten golden apples, and a full map. I put the sword and apples in my backpack, and slid my hand over to read the map. I read the map to see nothing too unique or interesting. In the corner of my eye, I saw a strange blank area. I put away the map and thought to myself. I looked in the direction that Jordan headed to realize that was where the blank area was. Something was wrong and I wanted to get the answer. One word lingered in my head as I left towards the village that day. Andrew.....
