This is Amon, the main villain of the first season of Legend of Korra. A master Bloodbender, and son of previous Bloodbender Yakone, he is one heck of a villain.

This art is amazing. Amon/Noatak was one of my favorite villains (well, my favorite was Zaheer) and probably one of the darkest and most dangerous of them all.

Thank you! Although, my question is, I know he bloodbends, but how exactly can he take away bending? Is it blood-related? Or if not, what exactly is it?

Like Ty Lee in ATLA, he's a chi-blocker, but he used his bloodbending to modify the chi-blocking so it's permanent.
