Many of you probably know of the great blogger TheChipsandip. He has quickly made a name for himself around the PMC blogging community. But we just know his blogging side. What else does he do? It was a mystery... until now, when I interviewed him.
Q: What got you into blogging?
A:Istarted out as a builder, and during my building period I noticed how people were making posts with a different picture as a thumbnail misleading them pretty much. So I decided to tell my thoughts, and IrealizedI enjoyed writing a lot more than building, and soon I quit building and got into writing, and it's been a lot more fun than building.
Q:You're a pretty popular blogger I would say. Do you do anything out of PMC to make your blogging great?
A:Well I wouldn't say I write better than other people, maybe just have a better sense of what I'm doing. I write short stories sometimes when I'm bored, mostly because I'm always bored of what I'm reading, and because I know what I want to read, I write what I want to read. So I guess you can say I have sort of a method for writing my blogs.
Q:And your method seems effective, doesn't it?
Do you release blogs at certain dates, or is it random?
A:It's usually on a weekend but It's sometimes at random. I am trying to start posting every Saturday, but I probably won't because I'm lazy and stuff.
I'm also super disorganized and stuff so yay inconveniencefor people that read my stuff.

Q:What are your likes and dislikes about PMC in general?
A:I like a lot of stuff about PMC. I love the people, and how it's like a neighborhood. I am now more familiar with people here than I am at my own school. I love chat mostly and it'sbecause of moments like these. I like the forums, the projects, and much more. I can say though I dislike how you can earn like 12+ XP and you don't have any idea why. I also dislike how blogs can be sometimes. Blogs are okay, but I think people should use the forums instead of blogs, but I try to help give some advice if I can if I spot one that I know can be improved.
Q:Agreed, especially about the moment.
How did you find PMC?
A:While I was still a builder I found this guy named Keralis. He is pretty popular as of now on youtube. Anyway I saw his houses and I wanted to make one sooooooooooobadly. I actually managed to make a somewhat (not at all) decent one, and I wanted to post it online. I didn't like MC Forums (it was too confusing) so I didn't post it there. Then I found out about PMC after a bit of googling and not binging (I'll never use bing btw). I made an account, posted a crappy house, and that's how it all began.
Q:What else do you like to do, IRL or on the computer, outside of blogging?
A:I play a Fender Stratocaster. I really like music. I'm that kind of 12 year old kid that owns all those Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin songs. They've always been sort of my thing.
I also was in Cross Country although the season ended about a week ago, and me being the amzing person I am got 2nd to last place in our homeI also was in Cross Country although the season ended about a week ago, and me being theamazingperson I am got 2nd to last place in our homeinvitational. Q:And final question:
Do you have any tips for new bloggers?
A:My tips for new bloggers is obey all of mayuriyandere's commands. Yes, do that and you'll be blessed with the richest of lands and the finest of wines and foods.
But my serious advice is to plan your blog, and then think of what you would want to write. I can tell when people force an idea, use an idea but don't plan, or take an idea. If you notice how I don't post frequently you should know it's because I'm brainstorming to make my blog as great as they can be. If you can make the best blog ever but only once a year or make a really bad blog every day, choose option 1. You're reputation can easily shatter if you choose to just do it for the XP, which itself is wrong. Do it for the fun of it. Also go on chat a lot for it can actually practice for your audience. You learn what people like and also can become well known for your time spent on there instead of studying for a test.
