Welcome back to another issue of the Blockly Craft. The only good quality newspaper out on the entire site! Today there are many subjects to talk about, including the infamous mob vote, LeLovesJazzs' return, and a follow up to the war from last issue.
Starting off this week's the mob vote. It doesn't matter if you love the PMC community or not, this is relevant. Many things in this paper refer to users of the site, but this time we talk about something that may be able to change Minecraft as a game. The mob vote is hated by some people, and frankly it is very easy to see why. The Phantom is considered the worst mob in the game by the majority of players, and the other mobs have been not bad, just not useful.
This mob vote gives some more useful mobs, including a penguin, armadillo and a crab. All of these are creatures that players have wanted for years, and now only one will be added. They all are unique, though sometimes their description is rather unexplanatory. It's often hard to tell what the mob will actually do, and this is what likely swayed the infamous 2019 mob vote, where people thought the glow squid had hypnotic properties.
The mobs have all special abilities. The crab is a mob that spawns in the rare mangrove swamps and has a claw that adds reach. This could revolutionize PVP combat, though it isn't clear how it will work. Perhaps it is used in the off-hand? Judging off polls it is the current first place mob.
The armadillo was the second mob announced and was the one everyone hyped over at first. The hype died down though, as it is in the second place of most polls. The armadillo has still got a following, though. It is a mob that will add to Savannah biomes. This means it would be the first mob unique to Savannah biomes! It would add armour for wolves, but this just isn't enough for list players.
The final mob to be announced was the penguin. This mob was the least popular choice, with very few votes going to it (approximately only one out of every five). The mob is supposed to help boats go faster, though the video by Mojang doesn't explain in the slightest how it does so. This mob does have a couple supporters, with people such as bigotato rooting for its success!
Next up we have the promised follow up to the war involving the GME. The war continued in fun until Elightin_elytra decided to get Tovarishh Vizer Shtorm to click a special link, thus causing him to accidentally give out his information. Elightin_elytra then posted the information on a wall post, and has been banned for now 10 years. This also caused an upset Tovarishh Vizer Shtorm to demand an apology blog. It contains apologies from several members that were in on the plan, although both illager and Rob333 expressed destain for the idea of a public apology. They claimed they hated that they were being forced to apologize as a group despite it only being a couple people that even knew of the scheme. In short Rob333 worded his reasoning well; claiming: "the important thing is that I am not apologizing, when I did something the last time in the roleplay, I planned a nuclear attack but it was all in lore, like we send planes and nuke everything, not an IP leaking named nuke attacking, so I also think that no one should be apologizing apart of Elightin, he's the only one who should apologize, and he already did." There is more that he said, but that is one of the highlights of his section. For reference the plan by Elightin_elytra was codenamed "nuking" so that it could be considered roleplay if anyone ever asked.
The leader of the GME was usurped-this after he was called out as a Neo-Nazi by several users, and though CrystalRuby tried to take power, she was defeated very quickly. Quickly all parties from the war came together to make a second attempt for peace. They agreed together, and the war is officially over-regardless of what some other news sources will claim.
Departed user LeLovesJazz has reentered society, or, at least PMC society. He was thought gone after the winter, and while he did seem to leave PMC he never fully left his beloved Discord channel. Now after a month or so of wait he has returned, with a anew profile picture as well!
On the subject of profile pictures it is time for special Halloween versions to be used! Users such as Darkfap and GracieMockingjay both have adopted such new variants for the holiday!
The old, game Minecraft Dungeons was officially retired this week. The game had over one million players but was ended. No one really was surprised though. The game hadn't gotten updated in over a year-and-a-half. The game no longer will recieve updates-much like the legacy console editions. Note that the game is still playable.
