For several years, I have had an ongoing project--building my irl house in Minecraft. I had very little building skill in 2019, but I plunged right into the challenge. As to be expected, I did a pretty bad job and lost the heart to finish it. Thus it sat around for a year without a roof and I spawned horses in the foundation.


In 2020, I decided that I had better finish it and spent an hour or so making the roof. While I was glad to have finished it, I was still unsatisfied with the building flaws and the bad quality of work.

(I don't have a good picture of the completed house, but you can see it on the left in front of the moon in this one.)



One day in 2021, I had enough with the thing and decided to get rid of it and take out anger in the process, so...

The horses in the basement were not harmed, by the way.



(Even with the burning, it took forever to destroy xp)

I planned on rebuilding it eventually, but the trauma from the first one gave me reason to procrastinate (I don't have procrastinator class for nothin'). Finally, I made a floorplan and built it up in 2022.

I know I left the roof for last, but that was so you could see the inside layout because it is surprisingly hard to get screenshots with a roof. (This does not include the second floor.)

After the landscaping and furnishing, I made the roof and celebrated the relief. XD

Those aren't all the pictures/rooms, because there are quite a few. XD I was a little creative with the decor this time, but I'm glad I gave myself more freedom with furnishing. I kinda wish our house did have some of this stuff, but meanwhile Imma chill in the Minecraft version.
