First of all, diamonds are just too rare! You need exactly 8+7+5+4, which equals 24 diamonds to make a full set, not to mention the 3 diamonds needed to make a pickaxe and go to the nether. And the sword!? Don't get me started on that. My god, you even need 2 more to craft an enchantment table. I was once playing on a survival world with nearly a full set of diamond armour, only missing some boots. I had 3 diamonds, and only needed 1; I searched EVERYWHERE, from shallow cave to bedrock layer, and I only found redstone, lava, and mushrooms. But when I finally reached a diamond, I was blown to pizza slices and walnuts by a creeper right behind me. Because the armour was on low duration, and I was missing boots, I died. (It also killed the creeper, but nobody cares) and the worst thing is, I couldn't exit without saving because it was the PC edition! That just reminds you to be more careful about difficulty. But the worst thing is, it was on HARDCORE MODE! Nooooo!!! I think Mojang should make diamonds a bit more abundant, so you don't have to go and build a 50 block by 50 block mine. I could have used more mining techniques like TNT (which is not a good technique) or vertical mining (you could mine straight into lava), but I didn't bother. Please leave a comment or something positive if you agree!
