I am here to say what admins thinks about griefers. Griefers are extremely annoying and can cause a major falling point to many servers. Griefing isn't just breaking other builds it is also spamming and other illegitimate actions. Griefers are why some people leave servers and admins what people to start on there servers they worked hard on. Admins can stop griefing by downloading a plugin that can rollback griefing such as CoreProtect. They can also create a whitelist so people have to apply and most griefers don't have patience to apply. You can also get a ban manager like MCBans that automatically bans well know griefers from your server. Admins can do many things to stop griefing but they don't do anything about it.

No one quite knows why one griefs it could be for items or just to be mean. There will always be griefers out there so make sure you find a secure server that you can trust with your time and builds. Make sure the servers you play on use some plugin to rollback griefs or ban griefers.
