Ever found youself on a faction server and within spawn there are at least 30 guys with full enchanted diamond armor with a sharpness V diamond sword with all recources stripped empty? Well, here's the answer to all your prayers.

1. Tell your friends about the server and ask them to join.  This is a lot easier then talking to a guy you don't know through the flooded chat section and a lot more reliable then teaming up with someone like that.

2.  Don't make a house close to another house or simply just on the ground.  It would be a lot better and cooler if you lived in a sky fortress or an underground bunker.  It's a lot harder this way and so almost no one will find you.

3.  NEVER tell somone where you are or accept a tpa request.  It goes like this:
badguy33: hey accept the tpa request
randomnoob90:kk
randomnoob90:/tpaccept
*badguy33 brings along 3 friends*
*badguy33 griefs your house and steals everything blah blah blah*

4. Only let people in your faction that you trust completely.  Sometimes staff can even still grief and it's not like the owner will ban them because if its factions, you can raid.

5.  ALWAYS do /kit and get all the kits when (or before if you really need it) you have a house built.  These things can really save you.

6.  Trap your house! For example, if you live in an underground bunker, but a whole in the entrance floor and put lava in the hole to keep out raiders.

7.  Once you have a decent house built, do /sethome and you can do /home whenever you want to go back.

8.  Last but not least, raid other factions! You aren't gonna get anything good by being Mr. Niceguy to everyone else.  The whole point of factions is to raid and deystroy other tribes, and if you follow this you should be able to do just that!

One more important thing: if making an underground bunker, replace every single block you remove, and have no entrance. Use /sethome and /home to go back to base.
