Floating Boat Glitch!!! On a Multiplayer Server!!

Level 37 : Artisan Grump

I was building a broken Aquaduct acting as a water slide. When you placed the boat down and didn't get in it it would float. It would Dissapear then Respawn where you placed it and would do this repeatedly :D Is this a new glitch?

Happened on my server they were floating above spawn

It was lag for the server most likely if you were running smoothly,my Minecraft runs kind of in between smooth and laggy more like medium,but horrible on Fraps.So ya it happens on most servers.

That isn't a glitch its lag,i've had that happen to me countless times on servers,its really frustrating,it would just lag and once it stops you figure out you crashed into something and don't get all the parts back to make a boat,which is super irritating.
