Hey guys! Waffles here, and today I will be talking about Minecraft Multi-Network Friend Lists, and why they should be added into the game.
Now, when you play with your friends on many Minecraft servers regularly, it may be a bit tedious to go in every server to check where they are. Not everyone has Skype, so that kinda rules it out. If there was a way to find out where they are and even talk to them cross-server, that would be cool!
On the start menu, the layout would look like this:
To add someone to your friend list, you would give them a command ingame. I guess maybe a /mcf [playername] where MCF stood for Minecraft Friend. To accept, maybe you could do /mca [player]. When you add them, they are added to your friend list and you are added to theirs. The format would be like their skin head, their IGN and the server IP that they are on:
Now, this leads me onto my second idea- being able to contact them. You would click on their face and send the message. When they recieve it, a little 1 in a circle will appear on your face (on their list).
I know that some people will think that this will turn Minecraft into a big social network, but I think that if done correctly this could be really useful. I know there are some flaws with this, but to be honest its an idea, so I don't care. Tell me what you think below and I will try to get back to you ASAP! Bye!
