Lily was a small child who lived in a tiny village near the beautiful mountains. She was only 7 years old and spent every second she could in nature. The wilderness was a huge land of trees, mountains, lakes, hills, and valleys. The leaves on the trees rustled as the wind swept itself through this amazing place. It was 6:00 in the morning and the birds began to sing and chirp their songs. Lily woke up and right out the door she went. There was water still on the ground and a worm wiggled into a small hole in the ground. Lily ran through the forest happily but she stumbled upon something. A injured wolf sleeping in a den just a few feet away from her. Lily had heard wolves could be dangerous creatures and could attack people and hurt them badly. Lily stepped backwards...CRACK! She had stepped on a stick. The wolf stood up and backed up slowly as if to say it was no harm. Being not that smart Lily got closer and the wolf growled. It lie back down but kept it's yellow eyes on her. Lily took off her backpack and grabbed a sandwich from inside. She started eating it and the wolf stood up again and got closer. "You must be hungry aren't ya wolfie, take this," she said while throwing a piece of ham over to the wolf. It quickly snatched it up and went back to its den. Later Lily went home and told her brother, Luke, about the wolf.
"Ha, I don't believe you fed a wolf, that's not true lil sis" said Luke who was 13 years old.
"Well I did so you can just be jealous and do whatever you want but I did! I'll show you tomorrow he will be there! I know he will!" She shouted.
It came to be the next day and Lily showed her brother the wolf. He was amazed. The wolf came over to them and rubbed it's nose against Lily's side as if to say: Let's be friends!
