Frienemies

SSP, is always enjoyable and fun, but SMP is always more fun!! Playing with other people to share your adventures with, to relax, perhaps party a little, or build a village. Even maybe live in different areas and just meet up from time to time like neighbors. This is getting a bit strange. However, I found out that minecraft is very much like real life when in SMP. Let me explain before you trollolololol me. :P

Splash! I joined the server to a splash. Our world had spawned us in the sea and we immediately started to fall into the water and drown. Ive never spawned in such an odd place! However, my friend (Pb) and I rose to the surface of the water and looked for land. We found ourselves beached on a fairly small sized jungle covered island. No other biomes, and just sea for miles. This is one of the things i love about the new biome changes. You hardly have like 5 biomes all mixed together, it looks great. Anyways, on the beach of the island we quickly made a dirt hut.

In this dirt hut we stuffed a furnace, workbench, and torch together in about a 3x4 area. Not very spacious. However we were able to work well together in order to collect wood and stone to make stone tools before the first nightfall. It was going really well! These are the times when working with someone else can be really helpful, because we were able to have full sets of tools, a home, and a small farm before night. However we had not found sheep or killed spiders so we could not sleep, and we didnt venture outside because if we were to die we would have spawned in the ocean and even on the furthest vision you could not see land. However died would be horribly lost. So it was a boring first night.
