Yes call me a noob but I truly dont know how to make a Minecraft server. I have downloaded the .exe file for the server makeer and all it does is put a bunch of stuff into my folder that I extract it to. It all works fine but how do I get the ip. I've tried www.cmyip.com which if I put it into my default browser ( Chrome) it comes up with my routers details. so can someone please explain to me how to create an MC server.
