- First search on Google for 'Minercaft 1.2.5 mod-loader'
- When you find a website for mod-loader, download mod-loader
- Make an empty folder on your desktop
- Open Mod-loader folder and copy the files into the file you created
- Open the folder you created
- Open the windows menu bar
- On the search bar type in %appdata%
- Open the folder called .Minecraft
- Open the folder bin
- Open the folder called minecraft.jar with a jar opener program ( Like 7zip or Winrar )
- Drag over the files in the folder you created in step 3
- Delete the Meta-Inf file
- Delete the files in the folder you created in step 3 if they are still in there
- Download the mod you want
- Open the file and copy the files into the folder you created in step 3
- Open the folder you just copied the files into
- Drag the files into the minecraft.jar folder again
- Delete the folder you created in step 3
- Close all windows
- Open Minecraft and enjoy
If This does not work
- See if the mod you downloaded requires any other mods ( Like Audio mod, or ModloaederMP, or Minecraft Forge).
- Check the mod loader text file and see if it says something like 'Java Lang Exception' 'Block___ is already taken by _____ When adding ______' If you do not see this skip step 3-5
- Go to the config folder and open the folder that says Mod__(Your mod name)
- Change the number of the block you saw had its spot already taken
- Save and close the text folder
- Check if the mod has a different set of instructions (Like putting stuff in mod folder)
