So today i started to play minecraft and noticed many people wanted to know how to make something like a great sized frigate or something perfect. Most people think it takes a lot of practice to copy an image exactly so i decided to show how to make real mc art... I went to a wiki website of the frigate from unsc i wanted to build and made it half of its size. It gave me the height and width of each part of the ship, that way i could make it look like exactly. Also using world edit can mess you up without you knowing it... so i build everything by hand. It usually turns out great in the end. Getting blueprints and scales is how you build these massive things it takes time and patience. I usually turn on music so i'm not as bored it really helps. Then i log on my single player world and build so that way i have no server lag or anything. That really helps. If you ever build anything you always need to plan and scale it before building it. Write things down on paper plan and prepair time. If you don't feel like completing it ever then don't make it. Make it into a project so people urge you to do it and give feedback on your progress. I don't like seeing bad art. Just because you can't use redstone on something doesn't mean you should just give up and not make it. Forget the redstone or worry about it later and get the look on the outside right. The more practice the better you get at it. I love building its my favorite thing. I am doing much detail on my frigate which is in my projects as well as many other great things. :) Also pixel art is where you get an image and pixelate it and get the colors to match as close as possible. That is how you do pixel art. :)
