Loads of people ALWAYS try their best to become a respected part of the PMC community, there are great ways to do this and then there are the bad ways to do this.

What Does Being Respected Mean?

Being respected means that the community likes you and don't consider you annoying, or a troll. Loads of people want this "rank" and I don't blame anyone. I for one love to be respected anywhere and I try my best to become respected. However, like I said in my opening paragraph there are the good ways to this and the bad ways which I will list out later in this blog.

What's So Special About Being Respected?

Let's just answer the question this way. If someone were to offer you friendship and respect, would you take it or say no? I'm sure everyone would rather have a friendship then be hated upon. That's basically what is so special about being respected. Especially on any type of gaming site like PMC, if you are respected you aren't considered a troll (a nasty little prick) and people will generally like you or at least withstand you if that makes sense. However, one thing I will mention right now, spamming for people to check out your submissions will make you become hated, not a troll, but hated. Possibly even worse.

Good Ways To Become Respected:

I will list out the main GOOD ways for people to respect you without you being an annoyance to anyone:

1. Produce great content - The more great content you have, the better you will be known and respected.
2. Be active - I say this all the time, the more you are active on the forums, the site and chat you WILL be known and respected.
3. Don't lash out on people - If you maintain your anger at someone and not burst out at them, you will prove that you have patience and once again, will be respected.

I've listed out three ways and I'm positive there are many more, but these are just the generic things you need to know on how to become respected.

Bad Ways To Attempt To Become Respected:

This is a list of BAD ways that I hope none of you follow to try and become respected:

1. Spam your content on the forums or chat - If you do these two things, I'll feel sorry for you because first off, you will get no respect and instead you will get hate.
2. Telling people you have subscribed to them and asking them to subscribe to you
3. Disliking/Trolling other people's content

Once again, just the generic things on how NOT to become respect. I realize there are many more and feel free to list them out in the comments.
