This is a blog on how to change your skin so that even when the mojang skin services are down you can still enjoy your skin (WARNING: if on server you may see other people as your skin when the skin service is down)

1. Download your skin and rename it " char.png"
2. open up the texture pack folder that you use and want to modify the skin and open up the mobs area
3. Replace char.png with your char.png
4. enjoy :P
5. WARNING may see others like you when the skin services are down
