i got a comment on reddit that said "My poor little sister is *young age*, and has a girl "princess" skin...the *bad word* she (and I) get from guys on servers is *more bad words* ridiculous :/ " and this made me think what could people do to avoid this kind of stuff happening. so i decided to make a blog on what to do if you're being abused over the internet.


this is a bully and you know how to handle them in real life, but do you know how to handle them on planetminecraft, on minecraft servers, on the internet i general? well if you don't then i will teach you in 4 easy steps for minecraft servers and forums.

1. ignore them
this is always the first step because this will stop a lot of them, they will get bored and go away.
2. ask them to stop
"ayyyyyy gurl how you doin" "can you please stop flirting with me or i'm going to report you" "ok"
that's how that conversation should play out and its a simple solution. if it doesn't work however...
3. repot them to an admin
"no i will not stop flirting with you" "is there an admin online?"
this little trick will stop even the most persistent of attackers. but if they continue after that, be persistent and...
4.report them to the owner
this should be a last resort because if everyone complained to the owner of a server than it would not be as effective, and unlike admins the owner has more than moderating to do for the server so only do it in extreme cases, such as people making inappropriate advances towards you and it's making everyone on the server uncomfortable
5. find a different place
the only reason that this one did not come before reporting to the owner is because of how extreme it is, but it is the simplest of the approaches. there are a lot of servers to hang out on so it's not hard to find another server.
