Now, you may have seen people post 3D images of their skins in their submissions.
Like this:-

Now I will teach you a simple way to get 3D previews like that in different poses.

1. Open minecraft.novaskin.me/ *Don't use this site to make skins, its not allowed*

2. Click on this button:-


3. Browse your computer and choose the skin file that you want a 3D version of.

4.Now click on the "Pose" button.

5.Choose your desired pose!

6. Once you have chosen a pose that you like, drag you cursor away so that the grid of lines disappears. Then click on the "Photo" button.

7. Right click and save the pop-up photo.

8.Enjoy your 3D preview while eating cookies!
