..but it's spawning pigs, not sheep.

Will give you all of the entity ids so you can use them to make a spawner for any mob in the game. Also you can now give yourself a spawner that goes into your inventory so you can place it wherever you want if you use this command
/give epicduck535 mob_spawner 1 0 {BlockEntityTag:{EntityId:"Ender Dragon"}}
Just change epicduck535 to your in game name and change Ender Dragon to whatever mob you want.

heres a moddifyied wither skeleton wearing a helm and holding an enchanted bow
heres the spawner command
/setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:mob_spawner 0 replace {EntityId:Skeleton,SpawnData:{CustomName:"i will kill you now",CustomNameVisible:1,SkeletonType:1,Equipment:[{id:bow,Damage:10,Count:1,tag:{display:{Name:bone bane ,Lore:from a skeleton ]},ench:[{id:48,lvl:41},{id:51,lvl:1}]}},{},{},{},{id:leather_helmet,Count:1,tag:{ench:[{id:1,lvl:1}]}}],DropChances:[0.5F,0.085F,0.085F,0.085F,0.5F]}}

you can go one step further and modify it so the mobs are holding items
