Okay, so you're here because you want to make videos eh? Yeah you are! So in this blog i'll be giving a few key points you should keep in mind.

1. While recording, use Audacity. Audacity is a free sound editing software that is 100% virus free. I recommend it because if you are recording your voice with Fraps, Camtasia, Bandicam, etc there is a chance the audio can lag, thus making your video sound less than good. It may not seem like it but one of the things that the common viewer FIRST checks is how decent your voice sounds. Also with audacity you can use a feature called noise remover to remove any static or background noise.

2. Give yourself room. It always makes me mad when I see a new youtuber who makes good content stop making videos. This can be the result of you making yourself a schedule and then not sticking to it. Ex "Hey my name is so and so and I plan on putting out new videos everyday". There is nothing wrong with daily videos, but don't kid yourself. If you KNOW that you won't be able to keep up with the schedule, make a different one because here's how it is going to go: "Oh, Im supposed to make a video today... I'll just do it tomorrow" "Oh yeah I said I was going to do the video when I should have done it yesterday, ah well i'm too busy" and so on and so forth until you just stop making videos and whatever small amount of subs you gained in that past week get bored and unsubscribe.

3. Do NOT sub 4 sub. This is generally the WORST way to get subs. It is frowned upon almost as much as self plugging (Self advertisement) so just don't do it

4. When recording don't do monotone. Change your pitch of your voice. Imagine that you're talking to a friend. You won't talk to a friend like. Oh. Hey. Yeah. I'm. Um. Like. Gonna talk now. It's just not fun. Your voice should almost be like a sham wow commercial, be expressive!

5. Be original. I'm not sure how much to express this. Have you ever stopped to think of why you want to do a minecraft letsplay? Could the reason be that 5000 other people already had that idea? No matter how you slice it, minecraft is overplayed. However if you INSIST on playing minecraft, at least play it in a way that is different and still entertaining. A new adventure map is a good way to do this because if you tell them that you did a video, they may link it in their post. So guess what? That's advertisement for both them and you. Win - Win.

6. But I think most of all, have fun with it. NEVER EVER do youtube because you want to be like "Yogscast". It never will work out because the last thing someone wants to see is a commentator who puts out crappy videos and who think's he/she's all "that". Enjoy making videos, people will notice genuine enjoyment from scripted, and it will make a big impact on your sub count, in a good way.

I suppose that's it. If you like this blog please diamond and if you like my content, subscribe so you never miss another blog. Any questions can be PMed to me or commented, have a splendid day! Happy filming ;)
