I will be telling you how to get a mod but first, download forge from here. Find the version you want to use and download it.
                    Next, go to your desktop and double click the icon that you downloaded. If nothing happens, left click it and select open with and select Java. Now run it. After you are done installing forge, find a mod (of the version of forge you downloaded.) After downloading the mod, open the folder icon on your taskbar. In the search, type in %appdata% exactly like that. go to .minecraft and open the mods folder. If you dont have one, make a new folder and name it, mods no caps, punctuation it must be exactly:          mods
                Drag the mod into there and close the folder. Run minecraft but instead of clicking play, click Profile: and select forge. Click play and enjoy your mods. You CAN have multiple mods at one time. I'm running 28 mods on a creative map. Happy crafting!!!
