How to Install Mods on Minecraft PC/Mac Edition!
Recently I have been seeing many posts on how to install mods that don't really work,so I am just going to write a simple guide on how to install mods.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FORGE INSTALLED!!!!
Ok,so next you need to download the mod,A bar should pop up at the bottom of your Google Chrome,Click the little arrow and go to "See in Folder" You should then see it in it's folder.
Then drag it into the "AppData" folder(Make sure you can see it)
Then from "AppData" Go to Roaming,Then you should see a folder at the top called ".minecraft",Drag it into ".minecraft" ,Find a folder in there called "Mods"(If you cannot see this folder please follow the instructions to install Forge) ,Then you drag it into mods. So now you need to check that it works,first off check the version of Forge you use,I use 1.7.2 or 1.6.4 Forge. Then check what version your mod is,For example if I downloaded a mod for 1.6.4,I'd need to run 1.6.4 Forge. To change your Froge Version Load up minecraft,go to "Edit Profile",then go to "Version" and change it to the correct forge version needed. Now once you have done your checks try out the mod! If it does not work try a different mod and if that dosen't,usually you have done something wrong! :P
