BORED MUCH?
Getting caught up in Minecraft fatigue? I always catch myself falling for a repetitive experience, in a game where oppertunities are literally limitless! I would leave gaps of time where I wouldn't play minecraft at all, until I felt I wasn't bored of it anymore. But the problem wasn't with the game, I just kept playing it the same!
BREAKING THE HABBIT
Now in my own experience I can say that breaking the "effeciency habbit" can revert you back to that player who fell in love with Minecraft again! Countless times I would find myself in a new singleplayer or multiplayer game and I would build a 10x10 house, designed by either Keralis or my own style to impress people but they would always be the same! A couple of furnaces, chests, and a bed...
One day I decided to break this habbit of effeciency and practicle space usage, and made an extravigant house! It took ages to get the resources for it such as clay bricks and other blocks but that became the fun of the game, going out for resources that WEREN'T wood and cobble! Suddenly I'm building a cliffside mansion that's bigger than needed and I'm still working on it as we speak! I'm having fun again! All because I said NO to the routine, I said NO to making as much as I need! I said "Let's make some thing fun!"
Give it a try! Throw all your knowlege of efficiency out of the window! And build that glass roof you build on one of you first builds, let your creativity flow and build something with a bit of colour! Explore different environments to build a house in and for improved addiction, set yourself high goals! Double the size, add little features to your house that make it personalized to you and try to avoid designs you've seen online, because then half of the work is done and it's less personal to you!
WHAT SHALL I CHANGE?
I'm not going to tell you exactly what features to add to your house, or what type of house to make because that's for you to decide! That's what this game is all about, so break the habit and think about things you want in your house that would make it more fun to live in and create! Recreational features always turn out fun.
LAST BLOG
I spoke about servers becoming bland to me, and then the PMC community spoke! Finding the right server is indeed very important, and luckily prettygirl4life suggested one to me which I am now on and in love with! So I suggest to all those looking for an enjoyable server to join check out Risk.MC as they care about the players experiences, with all the little touches such as the NPC's and Ranking System that rewards the player for playing!
