Look guys, there are only so many "elite" builders to go around. It seems every post I see now-a-days is asking for "elite" builders, or plugin developers, or Admins. Or people wanting to be admins. Or people wanting free server hosting. Come on, it gets old. I mean yeah I know you need builders, but it's kind of funny when you look on the recent posts list and you see five of the recent threads are about recruiting "elite" builders to different causes.

Just sayin'...
What are your thoughts?

removed the give a diamond thing. Also the last few times I was changing the picture or something. I don't mean to abuse the update log if that's what I did.

If I was looking for an "Elite" builder, I would ask them to build something semi-complicated within a deadline. The first [number of builders needed] would be hired/accepted/etc. But I don't quite like seeing people asking others to build their entire server or game for them. Anyone asking for help should give in at least some effort.

it doesnt take an "elite" builder to make some epic stuff. i am a wonderfull example :D
I guess what these people really need is to give others a chance, or to ask for proof of bulding ability maybe?

If there are any builders out there who want something awesome to build, please for the love of all things amazing, look into making the citadel from HL2.

actully he isn't troll he has a point, so many people just ask for things without even bothering to read the chat/forums rules were it says that dont double post on topic, which these guys are basically doing. and then it comes to the staff asking, they just ask because they be F**KED to go on the server and gain the owners trust,as for people asking for free server hosting, these people are little kids trying to become cool by asking for free server hosting as well as the yare poor becasue they cant affored servers or a good computer that would run a server. so pangamma2 i give u as 1UP and a diamond

I'm not giving this a diamond because you just made this blog to get levels, it makes no sense, some of the best build projects are made from "Elite builders", and you don't seem to get that.

I'm already level 31, man. One blog post like this won't affect me much. I made the post because I've been seeing a lot of different threads all asking for the exact same thing, which is "expert" or "elite" builders. How do you quantify elite or expert? Honestly most the time the people who respond to posts like that don't have much experience anyways. I responded once, and I was the best person on the list. Go figure. I suck at building! o_o

It's somewhat pointless to ask for "elite" builders because the people who respond are rarely ever legit "elite" builders. They are users like you and me. People who are alright, but really haven't put a lot of things on the front page of PMC yet.

The only reason I ask for builders to help is because we could get stuff done faster, plus it adds some diversity on suggestions for where to build, what to build, and to have fun. I don't even ask for "Elite Builders", like my brother for example, he's 8 and loves building; I let him build a restaurant on my server one time, he had a blast building it and I helped. It didn't turn out great, but it was fun building with my brother. That's what building in Minecraft should be like, and if you do get views / downloads / diamonds, that's cool too.

I get PMs ALL the time asking if I will build for/with people. Quite irritating.
