Thanks for letting me reach the pop reel, hopefully i'll post some more great content soon. (cannot get screeny :(, i'll try soons). Now front page! Check the spoiler for the pic!
Hello once again, I have recently taken a break from blogging as I have set up a new Youtube channel and I am trying to get some stuff set up and I have had a lot on at school, i've been busy. But now I am here to bring you a discussion about pmc. Basically as you may know, especially if you are an older user of pmc, the old mods are leaving and positions are starting to feel vacant.
Well, as quite a lot of you guys may know, ZaphodX was a great moderator, he always did he part for pmc, he uploaded great content regularly, he put effort in, he helped everyone who had questions, he allowed everyone to have his knowledge. Now, as you may have realised not every single moderator on pmc has had the best road, and not every moderator has been as good as the best, but we are not perfect.
Now, I remember the days when I was relatively new to pmc; about 1 1/2 years ago, there was a lot of moderators, they were helpful they solved issues, they were casual but knew how to take work seriously. They uploaded great content which everyone knew about and enjoyed, whether it be blogs, art, skins, projects or whatever it was brilliant. Also, they started the competitions around the time that I joined if I recall correctly where people could create skins around a theme to win prizes. They did a lot, they worked, moderators did things which brought lots of people to pmc. Some of these things and this layout brought me into pmc, I never even thought then that I would eventually be posting content like the content that I am producing today, but pmc has helped me get here.
Now if we look at pmc today, we have not as many moderators, although they are doing a fantastic job, they are under strain as I feel there isn't enough moderators readily available to help carry the load, so these initiatives are not coming through that much. Also we are seeing a decline in some of the better content providers, such as the closing of pmcsa (even though that was going corrupt), the angel block society (it may still be going but I think it closed, correction would be nice) and losing a lot of the best people in there fields resulted in a landslide of lower quality content reaching the pop reel and such. Before I made this blog, I personally had to report 2 skins from the blog pop reel because they had broken the rules, and they only had a few diamonds and not much more then a dozen views, that would've been an average blog back in the day. You had to have 10-20 diamonds, 5-10 favourites and 100's of views to be on the pop reel as the content had a lot more effort put into it. Nowadays we are seeing blogs like this (with just text) on light subjects.
Before we continue I have a semi-rant sort of thing which I have been discussing with my friends who skin recently about teen skins, specifically teen girl skins.
One final issue, before I move onto the improvements and helping pmc regrow. As we are losing some of the old members who made some of the best content the new people are arriving. These people are not as talented yet as the older skinners as they do not possess the skills required at this time to produce those skins, they may understand hue shifts and such but they have not found the most efficient way of using them and their key style type which they should use to make their skins with, the new generation of content producers are new and learning, I feel this shift is nearing its end on Youtube now too, where new people are uploading and new purposes and way of uploading to both youtube and pmc are taking place.
Now, I think pmc can improve, I know Cyprezz and the other Super Mods have been doing there load of work, trying to improve the stability and beauty of the website. Now, I believe, both the moderators and us as member can improve pmc. We need to go through content a bit more, such as skins and blogs which belong in the forums section or are complete and utter duplicates of older skins, also skins that use part pickers or default mob skins, such as steve, zombies and skeletons. Moderators can take their time to, like users, trowel through these sections and find exceptional skins and uploads whilst they can remove the content, like they do, but I feel they mainly rely on us, but this is not my complaint, they are after all people, just like you or I and they have jobs, lives, friends, family and relationships which other people, that needs to be respected.
I feel moderators and players, especially the mini-mods should calm down and let things take place and moderators need a more streamlined easy approach on things like the forums, as for uploads, these need to be taken a lot more seriously, both by users and moderators, I feel not everyone is doing there best to improve pmc, but they do try.
Remember to upload great content, and thanks for reading, check out my channel here. If you are still reading or are just scrolling through, enjoy a cat pic :D

Before we continue I have a semi-rant sort of thing which I have been discussing with my friends who skin recently about teen skins, specifically teen girl skins.
Semi-rant thing
Well, over a two day period we counted (around midday aest) 4 teen girl skins on the pop reel and 6 teen girl skins on the pop reel. Now, if we look at teen skins, they are just a person wearing a hoody and some pants, usually with headphones or an emo-styled hair-cut. This is very unimaginative, just like the time when a lot of assassin's creed skins were being produced. Now if we look at a lot of these teen girl skins, we see that most of them are somewhat under-dressed than what we are used to. This may be due, to the general statistics of pmc. The majority of pmc users are male preteens to early teens who are getting into girls. They are nearing or entering puberty and finding girls a lot more attractive. People end up feeling "attracted" to these skins. This is an issue, as these (worthless and unoriginal) skins are making the reel, which they don't deserve to be.

Aging - American English
Similar to words like color/colour, use whichever one corresponds to your nationality of personal preference. For example, I prefer "aging" because the majority of people reading it are likely to be American, and because the double vowels create an awkward mental pronunciation,
