Issues updating my mods

Hey guys. If you didn't know i have three mods that i put out for 1.7.3 when it was out but i've been trying to update them to 1.8 because they got quite a few downloads but i've been having some issues with them. All my code is fine but there not loading up the textures I have. Any ideas? And before you ask yes i do have the textures in the right folder cuz it works fine in the start client part of MCP but when i reobf they don't work

hey i am new to minecraft how to do you use mods i downloaded some and they dont work please help

Well most mods come in a zipped folder with class files and textures all you need to do is open up your .minecraft folder, go into the bin folder and open your minecraft.jar with winrar and drag the classes and textures in and then delete the folder called META-INF out of your minecraft.jar and they should work

Assuming they were in a zipped file when you downloaded them just extract the map folder from inside the zipped file into your saves folder in your .minecraft

they are in a zipped file and i did extract them it still wont work
