So today I lost my good internet :( (I was actually stealing it from a neighbor). I guess they found out I was using it and cut me off. Now I'm stuck with this spotty college internet which literally has a download speed of 5 bits per million years. I hate this sooo much. I wish I weren't poor and could afford a good router.
Anyway, despite the internet loss, I got quite a bit done in the server. Since I was forced to play in "offline mode" for a majority of the time, I just spent a few hours exploring the server; finding places to build little villages, secrets, places that updates poorly and now need terraforming. The terrain around the server is actually very cool. Lots of unique features and landmarks. I do wish sometimes, however, that I had a terraforming tool. I'll probably get one soon and play with it a bit before I do anything drastic to the landscape in the Jazi server. Of course, I could always just re-back up the world before making any terrain changes.
When my internet finally came back, I went into creative mode and got to work on the palace in the sky city some more. I mostly did a bunch of interior work, spiral staircases, pillars, lighting, etc. I also worked on creating the bridges that will link all 4 buildings to each other. They're really basic and dull-looking right now, but they'll come along.
I've also decided to start working on the second building before I get too carried away and detailed with this first one. I'm pretty much done with the blueprint, I just need to add embellishment, fluff and flare to it. You know, "make it all flamboyant" as architects say. I didn't really do much on it, however, just worked on one fountain, but I'll get around to it soon enough. I just have my mind on too many other things right now to be working on the server.
